PALKI by FEMI began at a kitchen table in 2019 — a small studio, a big love for craft, and a wardrobe full of pieces friends kept asking to borrow. What started as a hobby became a boutique built on trust.
Every piece is one I would happily wear myself.
I studied textile design in Delhi and spent the first years of my career working with weavers in Lucknow, Jaipur and Karachi. That's where I fell in love with the small, quiet details — a hem finished by hand, a border woven by a family that has done it for four generations.
Palki is my love letter to those makers. Every piece we sell is one I've chosen personally, held in my hands, and would happily wear myself.
The boutique promise
Made slowly, on purpose.
A single Palki kurta can take up to three weeks to make — cutting, hand-embroidery, stitching, finishing. We think that's the point.
